Chi­nese smart­phone maker Trans­sion Hold­ings has launched a pre­mium smart­phone brand called In­finix in In­dia, tar­get­ing the ‘in­ter­net-savvy’ youth. Glob­ally, In­finix is of­fer­ing smart­phones in four dif­fer­ent cat­e­gories – the pre­mium se­ries Zero, the medium se­ries Note, fo­cus­ing on large dis­plays, the S se­ries for self­ies, and the Hot se­ries for first-time buy­ers. In In­dia, the com­pany is launch­ing two smart­phones – In­finix Note 4 and the Hot 4 Pro. In­finix Note 4 is slim, packs in a 5.7-inch, full-HD dis­play with 2.5D curved glass at the front, a 4,300 mAh bat­tery, a 13-MP cam­era with dual LED flash and an 8-MP front-fac­ing cam­era. This is a dual SIM smart­phone pow­ered by 64 bit octa-core pro­ces­sor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of on­board stor­age. The In­finix Note 4 is priced at 8,999. The Hot 4 Pro has a 5.5-inch HD screen, a large 4,000 mAh bat­tery, of­fers 3D sur­round sound, a 13-MP rear cam­era, a 5-MP front cam­era with soft flash. It is pow­ered by 64 bit quad-core pro­ces­sor with 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB on­board stor­age and a me­mory card slot. It is priced at 7,499.
