Chinese smartphone maker Transsion Holdings has launched a premium smartphone brand called Infinix in India, targeting the ‘internet-savvy’ youth. Globally, Infinix is offering smartphones in four different categories – the premium series Zero, the medium series Note, focusing on large displays, the S series for selfies, and the Hot series for first-time buyers. In India, the company is launching two smartphones – Infinix Note 4 and the Hot 4 Pro. Infinix Note 4 is slim, packs in a 5.7-inch, full-HD display with 2.5D curved glass at the front, a 4,300 mAh battery, a 13-MP camera with dual LED flash and an 8-MP front-facing camera. This is a dual SIM smartphone powered by 64 bit octa-core processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage. The Infinix Note 4 is priced at 8,999. The Hot 4 Pro has a 5.5-inch HD screen, a large 4,000 mAh battery, offers 3D surround sound, a 13-MP rear camera, a 5-MP front camera with soft flash. It is powered by 64 bit quad-core processor with 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB onboard storage and a memory card slot. It is priced at 7,499.
