No workout?

Governance Now - - BRIEFINGS -

When the ganga rejuvenation portfolio was taken away from union minister uma Bharti and handed over to Nitin gadkari, reports emerged alleging Bharti’s poor performance behind the cabinet decision. However, talking to reporters shortly after the reshuffle, Bharti dismissed the reports and said that the PM never pulled her up for her work and that he had scolded her only twice in her three years. “Lekin woh ek hi baat par padi hain ki main bahut moti ho gayi hoon aur mujhe apna weight kam karna hain. Iske alava mujhe aur kisi baat par dant nahin padi. (But it was only for one thing, that i had gained weight and i had to lose it. Besides this, i was not scolded for anything),” she said.

Bharti was shifted from the ministry of water resources, river development and ganga rejuvenation and moved to the ministry of drinking water and sanitation.
