India to grow fast in FY19
The World Bank has projected India’s GDP growth to recover to 7.3% in 2019 and 7.5% in the next two fiscals. It also stated that it is an economy with “enormous growth potential” because of the recent reforms. “India has an ambitious government undertaking comprehensive reforms,” ayhan Kose, director, Development Prospects group, World Bank, told a news agency in Washington. “GST is a major reform to have harmonised taxes, is one nation-one market-one tax concept.
