Opt for antioxidants

Hair - - Skin Special -

Antioxidants are molecules that neutralise free radicals that destroy skin’s collagen and elastin support. Without collagen and elastin support, the skin loses its firmness and tone. To neutralise free-radical damage, opt for moisturisers and creams containing vitamins A, C and E, which are powerful antioxidants. These vitamins are listed in skincare formulations as retinyl palminate, ascorbyl palminate, vitamin C ester, tocopherol or tocopherol palminate etc. These vitamins are also found in natural skincare ingredients such as green tea extract, pomegranate, grapefruit and sunflower seed oil.
