Watch out for the colour trends ahead

Eyeing those hues!

The eyes get more seductive as the eye-shadow palette gets more daring. Greys and browns are on our ‘been there, done that’ list. A/W ’13 is the time to play with colours. Run a riot with purples, blues and greens… with a dash of shimmer. No fear, lady, it’s your turn to flaunt

your style.

Smokin’ hot

With so many colours to choose from, A/W ’13 spoils you for choice. Trends, personal favs and bestie gifts — you have countless ways to dress up your peepers.

Tender loving care

Late nights are unavoidable, so take care of puffiness with a few simple tricks. Put cucumber slices or soaked green tea bags over your eye-lids and relax for 15-12 minutes. Remove and splash your face with tap water. Now turn to your dressing table and start dolling up!

->

Rouge on the rim

Get your lippies ready for the upcoming season with the hottest colours that ruled supreme on the catwalks and, oh yes! pots and pots of lip balms.

Colour me bright

Unleash your dark side! We don’t mean literally, of course. Get those

luscious shades of maroons and plums off the beauty counters and into your vanity bag. It’s time to go all sultry and sassy with the hues.

Tender loving care

Take an old soft-bristled brush and rub it on your lips gently in circular motion. This will help get rid of dead skin. Follow up with a liberal application of petroleum jelly. Apply a thick layer of lip moisturiser and leave overnight. Suffering from perpetually cracked lips? Take a look at your diet; it might be low on vitamin B.

Let there be light…

… and make your face it’s source. Luminous radiant skin is trending big time and you can achieve it with a good diet, healthy lifestyle and a few must-have products.

Radiance personified

A/W ’13 trends calls for an even radiant

complexion. That makes the primer, concealer, foundation and BB cream your new BFF. If you have doubts about how to

use these products, consult a make-up artist. Make sure the products are suitable for your skin type and tone. Whatever you do, the end result should be nothing short of clear flawless skin. We’ve thrown you quite a challenge there.

Any takers?

Tender loving care

Caring for your face is all about going back to the basics. Yes, we mean the CTM routine. Make necessary changes in the products you use, depending upon how the weather affects your skin. Add a skin serum and overnight cream to your regular stock of cleanser, toner, moisturiser and sunscreen.
