Pave your way to a smoother complexion
Our skin works like a guard to our body. It is not only the largest organ of our body but it is also the most exposed one. The parts of our skin that don’t regularly get covered by clothes take a beating every single day thus affecting the skin’s texture, which refers to our skin’s surface condition.
Good skin texture should be even, supple, smooth and hydrated with firm collagen and elastin support. Uneven skin texture is usually dry, rough, saggy and often sun-damaged. Several factors such as UV exposure, weather, lifestyle and daily habits can greatly affect the skin’s texture. Your skin’s texture says a lot about you, so it is very important to take care of it. If uneven skin is the bane of your life, don’t fret. Follow these guidelines (preferably under the supervision of a dermatologist) to improve your skin’s texture.
Here are some home remedies to help to improve skin texture:
Mix a tablespoon of curd, lemon juice and honey and apply it on the face for 10-15 minutes. It will help to lighten your complexion and will give you smooth, glowing skin.
Mix sandalwood powder with milk or water to make a paste. Apply it on the face and neck. Leave it on till it dries completely and rinse with plain water.
Take one tablespoon each of carrot juice, tomato juice and lemon juice. Mix them well and apply on the face and rinse with water after 10 minutes. This remedy works equally well for oily and dry skin.
