Give a chignon a textured feel by simply crimping your hair first. “The classic ponytail is dictating fashion trends. It’s an ideal ’do while travelling. Carry ribbons, clips, scrunchies and other accessories to style it. On a long face, wear a low ponytail with a straight fringe and with side-swept bangs if your face is oval. On a square face, have long curls falling down on either side of the face,” shares well-known beauty and skincare expert Shahnaz Husain. “Braids, especially side braids, are ‘in’, and since one can have the hair braided in many ways, remember to accessorise it. Long hair can be braided and then tied up. You can also have the braid on one side, along with face-framing curls,” she adds.
