Elaborating on the natural side of things, Shahnaz says, “One can carry nimbu (lime), aloe vera gel, honey, vinegar and tea bags. Mix lime juice with beer and apply it to your hair. Leave on for a few minutes and rinse off with plain water. The blend softens and smoothens the hair and adds shine, too. Honey and vinegar can also be used to rinse hair. Dip a tea bag in four-five cups of warm water. Remove it and let the water cool. Then, add some lime juice and use it as a last rinse. This makes the hair silky and shiny.” Shahnaz continues, “In dry and cold weather, the hair may lack moisture. To tackle this, use a mild herbal shampoo. After shampooing, use a creamy conditioner, massaging it lightly into the hair. Leave it on for two minutes and then rinse with plain water. This helps to soften the hair and makes it smooth and manageable. Alternatively, take very little hair serum or a leave-in conditioner, apply it in the same way.”
