T o enter a market that is on the brink of metamorphosis and yet to leave an imprint is no mean feat. And Skeyndor has done just that. When the Spanish cosmetics brand entered India two years ago, the Indian beauty industry was undergoing a transition. Given the huge market, both in terms of numbers and reach, Skeyndor has made quite an impact in its two years of presence here. The brand has not only established itself, but has also carved a niche in customer preference, with its highly efficient and result-oriented products. Its success and growing popularity were clearly reflected in the gala celebrations.
Ekta Cosmetics Ltd, the sole distributor for the brand in the country, organised the event at a well-known hotel.
Entertainment value was added to the celebrations by exotic dance and music performances by a Spanish dance troupe and a leading jazz band respectively. The guest of honour at the event was none other than His Excellency Ambassador of Spain in India, Gustavo de Aristegui.
The event was attended by over 200 guests including celebrities such as model and actor Jas Arora, and fashion designers such as Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manav Gangwani, Ashish Soni and Jaya Misra. Other noteworthy personalities at the event included Elena Febrel, Economic and Commercial Councellor, Spain, and make-up artists Meenakshi Dutt and Vidya Tikari. The event was also attended by clients and distributors of Skeyndor from across India.
