A healthy scalp lays the ground for healthy hair. Since ageing affects the production of natural oil in the scalp, oiling the hair with coconut, olive or almond oil helps to nourish the scalp. Hot oil massage with finger tips not only moisturises, but also increases blood circulation, thus revitalising the ageing cells. Richfeel has oils such as jaborandi and brahmi that nourish hair. Alternatively, you can slow boil Indian gooseberry ( amla) or hibiscus flowers in coconut oil and use this oil for massage. Amla is said to be beneficial in the prevention and treatment of greying hair; amla-soaked water or amla paste is also very effective.
