L’Oréal Professionnel, the Parisian house of hairdressing, extended its flair for combining fashion with hairstyling, by partnering with Ambika Pillai, renowned hairstylist and make-up artist. As Ambkia launched her spacious new salon in Vytilla, Kochi, Kerala, she teamed up with ace fashion designer Rohit Bal, to create a fashion-cum-hairdressing extravaganza. Such magnificent showcase called for some dazzling effects and who better than the sizzling Sushmita Sen to grace the event. Rohit presented one of his finest creations titled ‘Mulmul’ in a splendid fashion show, as Sushmita walked in the resplendent glory of her beauty. She displayed an exquisite hand-crafted ensemble with traditional and timeless art forms of embroidery and surface ornamentation as well as an intricate updo by Ambika. The show also saw India’s top models including Carol Gracias, Noyonika Chatterjee and Sapna Kumar as well as Joey Mathew from the God’s own country, in Rohit’s fit-for-royalty creations.
