Post-party care

Hair - - Care For Your Skin -

Plan ahead by keeping near your bed all that you may need to use once you are back from a party. Stock up with a good cleanser and a hydrating moisturiser. Remember to remove all your make-up with a good remover before you go to bed.

The stress of the festive season, indulging in salty foods, and environmental allergens can cause fluid to pool within the delicate and easily distensible skin beneath the eyes, resulting in eye bags and a tired, haggard look. Rejuvenate your eyes by applying a good eye cream. Place cool cucumber slices over your eyes to de-puff them and boost the active ingredients in the cream. You can place cool green tea bags on your eyes for 10-15 minutes to make your peepers look fresh.

It’s important to top up lost water in your body. Without hydration your skin can quickly become lacklustre and dry.

You must remove dead skin cells, clear out clogged pores and remove environmental stressors that age the skin by using a mild exfoliator. Follow this up by applying a deeply intensive, moisture-boosting mask.

Try and sleep for at least 8 hours to allow your body (and your skin) to recuperate for the next fun-filled event.
