Hair - - Care For Your Hair -

Styling tools and products are a blessing when used sensibly. Sylvia shares some important dos and don’ts while using styling products:

1. A shampoo and conditioning routine is the foundation for your final look/style. Styling products should be used on clean, shampooed and conditioned hair. 2. Apply a leave-in conditioner. They are lotion-based, light and easily penetrate into the hair cuticle, thus hydrating the hair and making it more manageable. They also control static. 3. New-age styling products come in many variants. Always ask your hairstylist what products he/she is using. 4. Before using any heat tool, apply protection products. Heat from styling tools gradually dehydrates your hair. 5. For men, it’s healthy and advisable to rinse off the gel or wax before going to bed.
