Slick fox

Hair - - Male Matters -

Last year’s film adaptation of The Great Gatsby, along with the ever-growing Mad Men craze, has ensured that men’s ’dos going into Autumn/Winter this year will be a lot more stylish. Nikhil Sharma, Sebastian Design Artist and Creative Director of the Affinity Salon chain, is of the same opinion. He believes that hair worn slicked back or slicked with a side parting will be instrumental in enhancing the debonair look this year. Go all out à la Blaine Anderson from Glee; but if his wet-gel look isn’t for you, try a simple slicked-back look. Adding a gentle wave (like the one Leo sports as Gatsby) will keep the look easy-going, adding movement while keeping it sophisticated. And for a look that channels the dashing Don Draper, ask your stylist to give you a slick high part, also trendy this year, says Nikhil. The key change in this year’s slicked-back look? Experts forecast a shift from matte products to gels and moulding creams that leave some shine.
