Hair - - Hot This Month - Text Benaifer J. Mirza

hair gets not just one, two, five, or ten, but 25 of India’s leading hairstylists and experts to tell you what’s hip, hot and happening in the hair scene in New Year 2014!

“Choppy layers, which add volume, are a hit for straight, wavy or curly hair. For round face shapes, the crown area should have more hair. It is a good option as short layers falling on the face make the face look slimmer. As for styles, this haircut can carry most looks — from big bouncy waves to tight curls and from straight, poker layers to flawless blow-dried hair. Browns and copper highlights are popular on the red carpet. These complement the Indian skin tone and lighten the face and, therefore, will continue to be in. Natural base or dark brown hair, with blonde streaks, is going to be a hit this season. Messy updos and loose waves and curls will be apt for dinner dates and parties.” Aakriti Kochar, Beauty and Make-up Expert, Oriflame India

A bit of this…and a bit of that! Some of our stylists feel that it can never be just one cut, colour or style, but marrying two or more trends that helps create that perfect look.
