Why: The steam from your hot bath al­lows the mois­ture from your pores to evap­o­rate, in­creas­ing skin dry­ness. In­stead: Make sure you shower only with luke­warm wa­ter. Though a hot shower may feel heav­enly on par­tic­u­larly cold morn­ings, the af­ter­math, won’t be too pleas­ant for your skin and hair. Also, make sure you mois­turise im­me­di­ately af­ter­wards so that you lock the mois­ture in the pores.
