In your 20s, your skin is at its best. And you can re­tain that glow by start­ing to care for your skin and form­ing lon­glast­ing skin­care habits. Be­gin with a mild cleanser; as Dr Arun­dathi, con­sul­tant der­ma­tol­o­gist at Kaya Skin Clinic and Columbia Asia Hospi­tal, Ben­galuru sug­gests, “Use gen­tle soap-free cleansers for dry skin and sal­i­cylic acid or ben­zoyl per­ox­ide based cleansers for acne-prone, oily skin. If you’re ac­ne­prone, use oil-free, non-come­do­genic, min­eral-based cos­met­ics.” No mat­ter how hard a day it has been, make sure to re­move your make-up be­fore hit­ting the sack. Make a light mois­turiser and a good sun­screen a part of your daily skin­care reg­i­men. This is also a good time to get on a healthy diet—coloured fruits and veg­gies, sprouts, yo­gurt, pulses, etc. Drink plenty of wa­ter and stay hy­drated.
