Topical Application

Hair - - Flavour Of The Month -

“There are multiple benefits of topical application of grapes. As the fruit pulp is rich in antioxidants and alpha hydroxy acids that naturally exfoliate the skin, its application is effective in skin cleansing and rejuvenation by exfoliation. It also encourages perspiration that leads to clearing off the skin pores and helps in hydrating the skin. Regular application of the pulp of grapes helps in reducing and curing acne; to even out skin tone; and to speed up the cell renewal process. The skin becomes firm and elastic, and appears fresh and glowing” says Dr. Neeraj Agarwal. Dark skinned grapes, as compared to green grapes have a higher proportion of flavonoids and antioxidants. Thus, with regard to overall wellness and skincare, red and black grapes are preferred. Grape seed oil is apt for toning, moisturizing and nourishing the skin. As it is light and nongreasy, it is easily absorbed into the skin and it does not clog the pores. Regular application also helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
