What is it?

A colouring technique that blends bold and contrasting colour patterns within the hair. The concealing is done via a veil of a natural base created by taking a section around the parting and using it to ‘mirage’ the colours underneath. The veil also controls how much of the colour is brought out and how much stays hidden.

Who is it for?

The adaptable nature of this technique means it can suit anyone, regardless of hair type, length, or style. From subtle flashes of colour for the office goer to a full-on explosion of hues for the music festival journeywoman, miraging can be adapted to your needs.

How to wear it?

Flexibility is the name of the game here. Whether you opt for a softer mix or a bolder palette, remember that pairing contrasting colours will give the best effect. Throwing in a couple of pastels will not hurt the boldness of the look. For best results, try interchanging patterns or peek-a-boo panels for when the hair moves.
