Dealing with frizz
Let’s be real, the ‘F’ word is the problem for most of us with curly hair. What looks perfect at home goes haywire as soon as you step into the great outdoors. The main cause is dryness—something people with curly tresses are easily susceptible to. Technically, frizz arises when the cuticle layer (a scale-like surface made of a protein called keratin) on a strand of hair is raised, which is more or less a natural occurrence for those with curly hair. However, there are several ways to keep the mess at bay.
