Start of the journey
Being part of a dance troupe, I have always been around make-up and had make-up done since I was five-yearsold. By the time I was 11, I was doing my own make-up. Eventually, make-up became a way to deal with my insecurities about my acne and skin tone. I took up fashion designing in later years, but with some boost from a close friend I started a YouTube channel on make-up, and that was the start. Then around three years ago, I was invited for a collaboration but that fell through. It was a journey full of ups and downs, and I had stuck it out—working from scratch, dusting shelves, studying products, freelancing. Today, I am with JCB and I get to curate looks based on global trends and seasons. I also do a lot of editorial work, creating mood boards, shoots, etc.
