Yes, the rumours are true. Roberto Cavalli, he of the leopard prints, highwattage red-carpet guru, and favourite of divas and queens across the world, is making an entry into India. In a franchise venture with the Infinite Luxury Group, co-founded by Sahiba Narang, designer Manav Gangwani, and Rahul Kapoor, the mega-brand is all set to woo haute Delhiites with its first store planned to open at DFL Emporio soon. This space, apart from having the women’s collections, handbags, shoes, watches, sunglasses, jewellery, small leather goods, and gifting items on offer, will also house the children’s collections. Speaking to Bazaar, Gangwani said that the time was right for the brand to make an entry into the market here. The Italian maestro’s fans in India include Priyanka Chopra, Malaika Arora Khan, Natasha Poonawala, Raveena Tandon, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Sridevi, and many more.
