EXOTIC ANIMALS PRINTS

Harper's Bazaar (India) - - THE STYLE -

3 The love of leopard patterns may have peaked this summer, but the pre-fall shows promise even more exotic offerings. Burberry showed giraffepatterned trench coats, while watchmaker Hublot and American designer Ralph Lauren referenced the graphic quality of zebra stripes. While Lanvin and Christopher Kane imitated the shadowy swabs of the civet, Giambattista Valli and Pucci too went fauna-tastic with their versions of cheetah spots. Incorporating animal prints into your wardrobe is easy, as they come in small doses like sunglasses and watches, as well as bold avatars like full-length dresses (as seen at Marc Jacobs this season). The only unbreakable rule: Keep away from blingy accessories and let the look speak, or roar rather, for itself.
