Harper's Bazaar (India) - - THE STYLE - Christine Whitney

It’s two major comebacks in one at Schiaparelli—the historic Paris house has brought the legendary designer Christian Lacroix on board to create a collection for its relaunch during the Paris haute couture shows this month. (Lacroix showed his last collection four years ago while Schiaparelli has been on a hiatus since the 1950s.) Collaboration is in the Schiaparelli DNA (founder Elsa famously worked with Jean Cocteau, Salvador Dalí et al.), and the reimagined label will feature new guest designers every year, with Lacroix as the big kickoff and the epic model Farida Khelfa as the house ambassador.
