Hyderabad-based Anushree Reddy is an MBA who stepped off the beaten track to explore fashion three years ago. Her clothes are easy-to-wear, Indian in their cuts, but with a vintage-meets-craft sensibility that’s unique to the designer. Today, she is one of Evoluzione’s bestsellers. “She creates elegant Indian silhouettes, combining traditional embellishments with vintage prints,” says Tina Malhotra, partner and buying director of Evoluzione. “In fact, she sold out within days, when her first collection of cottons hit our Chennai outlet.” Reddy debuted on the ramp in Mumbai this March, but has been retailing at Evoluzione for over a year now.
