Makes 10 In­gre­di­ents 1 cup ground wal­nuts + al­monds ½ cup dates 1-2 ta­ble­spoon unsweet­ened co­coa pow­der 2 ta­ble­spoon des­ic­cated co­conut power 1 ta­ble­spoon co­conut oil* (op­tional) Method Coarsely pow­der wal­nuts and al­monds in a food pro­ces­sor and trans­fer into a bowl. Re­move the seeds of the dates and chop into small pieces. Add to the nuts in the bowl and mix. Put co­coa pow­der, co­conut pow­der and co­conut oil in the pro­ces­sor and process till well mixed. Add this to the bowl with nuts and dates and mix ev­ery­thing well. Di­vide the mix­ture into equal por­tions and roll them into balls. Serve. The co­conut oil is not cru­cial to the recipe. Do not sub­sti­tute it with any other oil.
