CHOCOLATE COCONUT BALLS
Makes 10 Ingredients 1 cup ground walnuts + almonds ½ cup dates 1-2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder 2 tablespoon desiccated coconut power 1 tablespoon coconut oil* (optional) Method Coarsely powder walnuts and almonds in a food processor and transfer into a bowl. Remove the seeds of the dates and chop into small pieces. Add to the nuts in the bowl and mix. Put cocoa powder, coconut powder and coconut oil in the processor and process till well mixed. Add this to the bowl with nuts and dates and mix everything well. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll them into balls. Serve. The coconut oil is not crucial to the recipe. Do not substitute it with any other oil.
