Leopard spotted near Gurgaon tourist complex

GURGAON: Af ive-member wildlife team started a combing operation in Sohna on Monday night after villagers spotted a leopard and informed the wildlife department. Officials said they found nothing at the spot pointed out by the villagers but will they stay in the area to avoid any untoward situation in the wake of rising incidents of man-animal conflict in the region.

On Saturday, an eight-year-old male leopard was released into the Aravallis after it was safely rescued from the Maruti Suzuki plant in Manesar.
