April 30: Nupur surrenders before CBI court on SC directions, denied bail, sent to Dasna jail September 25: Nupur

May 25: Charges framed against Talwars for murder and destructio­n of evidence; Rajesh additional­ly charged with lodging misleading FIR

November 25: Special CBI judge Shyam Lal holds the Talwar couple guilty on all charges

November 26: Rajesh and Nupur Talwar sentenced to life in prison by the special CBI court. Demand for capital sentence denied

Jan 21: Talwars move the Allahabad High Court against the life sentence verdict by CBI court
