PROVIDE SHELTER TO HOMELESS

With no place to go, the homeless have a hard time during winter. No one seems to be concerned about their plight. The authorities concerned must provide shelters for them. Non-government organisations (NGOs) too need to take up this cause. The Supreme Court had directed states to provide night shelters to the homeless in winter. Hence the administration is dutybound to designate temporary night shelters or halls for the needy. Harpreet Sandhu,
