AMRITSAR: The Sikh History Research Board, a department of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), has found distortion of history of Sikh gurus in booklets by a Nagpur-based publisher, Shri Bharti Prakashan, and it will submit its report on June 15.

After some activists raised the issue, SGPC brought different volumes of the booklets from Nagpur and gave them to the research scholars working in the board for review. Diljit Singh Bedi, spokesperson and additional secretary of the SGPC, said the board has prepared the report which is to be submitted to the SGPC president by June 15 for further action.

He claimed “the scholars have found serious and blasphemous distortion”.
