Drug addict escapes from Bathinda hospital

BATHINDA: A drug addict admitted to the Bathinda civil hospital escaped on Wednesday hours after he was brought there. Having injected some drugs, Rohit Kumar of Gopal Nagar in Bathinda was brought to the emergency ward of the hospital on Wednesday afternoon by his family members and a voluntary organisation. After he was treated by doctors, he regained conscious and fled. Civil hospital police post in-charge Hargobind Singh said they were not informed about this.
