TRAI ORDERS NOT IMPLEMENTED

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has issued instructions months ago to enable consumers to choose

their own channels and pay accordingly. Still, Airtel has not implemented the new instructions. In fact, it has imposed its own packages on customers which are even more expensive than the previous ones. Trai should take cognisance of such lapses on part of the broadcaster(s) and ensure immediate implementation of the new instructions. VK Sharma, Panchkula
