Woman, lover commit suicide in Bhiwani village

ROHTAK: A 36-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison in Bhiwani’s Kharak Kalan village on Saturday.

The victim was identified as Pramila, wife of Dinesh, a resident of the village.

Police said it seemed that she had a love affair with her neighbour Surender (23), whose body was also found lying near her.

Police said they had not taken statement of the woman’s family. Villagers informed the police that the two were having an affair from the past six months.

The bodies were sent for postmortem examination. Police said they may be able to solve the case after taking statements from the woman’s family on Sunday.
