HARYANA ISSUES NORMS FOR SALE OF FIREWORKS

CHANDIGARH: With a view to preventing any untoward incident on the occasion of Diwali, the Haryana government has issued guidelines for sale of fireworks in the state and decided to cancel leave of all employees in the fire department. An official spokesman said on Wednesday that all the municipalities in the state had also been asked to ensure that all fire tenders were in working order and had insurance cover.
