Budget a bundle of lies: Harsimrat

Union minister and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Wednesday slammed the budget presented by finance minister Manpreet Badal terming it a “bundle of lies”.

She said Congress made hollow promises before polls and presented an empty budget. The MP said chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh promised full debt waiver for farmers, but Manpreet allocated only ₹1,500 crore for it which can only be sufficient for 750 farmers with debt of ₹2 lakh.
