Bride refuses to marry drunk groom in Shahjanahpur

A bride refused to go ahead with her marriage rituals after coming to know that her would-be husband was in an inebriated condition in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Her family members tried to convince her to give a second thought to her decision but to no avail. The marriage was eventually called off. Suman, daughter of Dinesh Singh of Kotawali area of Shahjahanpur, was to be married to Rupesh Singh on Wednesday. Arrangements were made at a banquet hall on the outskirt of the city.
