‘Punjab first to implement ₹2 lakh farm loan waiver’
Punjab rural development and panchayat minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa said the state was first to provide relief of ₹2 lakh as loan waiver to farmers possessing land up to five acres. He said no other state had taken such step benefitting over 90% farmers. He said BJP’s Swaran Salaria played with the future of 500 students studying in Chintpurni Medical College under his management. “Salaria is unfit to represent Gurdaspur,” he said.
