BJP MUST APOLOGISE FOR KATIYAR’S REMARKS

The BJP must apologise for the remarks of its MP Vinay Katiyar that ‘Muslims have no business to be here’. It is such irresponsible statements that spoil the atmosphere in the country, and spread poison. This divisive politics of hate must cease. I am just returning from my village Pili Mandori, where people from all communities celebrated a religious function in the gaushala with love and harmony. The armed forces, one of the main pillars of the nation, are most secular. As officers, our religion is the religion of our men, and we have a ‘Saravdharam Sathal’ in each unit, encompassing a temple, mosque, church etc. Let’s not create unnecessary rift.
