SHIV SENA LEADER ARORA PRODUCED IN MOHALI COURT
IN FEB LAST YEAR, ARORA CLAIMED HE WAS SHOT AT BY SOME MEN WHEN HE WAS SITTING IN HIS CAR IN LUDHIANA
MOHALI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) produced Shiv Sena leader Amit Arora in the court.
On February 3 last year, Arora had alleged that he was shot at by some unidentified persons in Ludhiana, while he was sitting in his car. He had alleged that the bullet touched his neck and then hit the rear seat of the car.
On June 23 in the same year, the police arrested Arora for “concocting” the story of an attack and misleading the police.
A case of fraud (with sections under the Arms Act) was then registered against Arora, his gunman and worker. The court has deferred the case till March 7.
