‘4,000 POSTS OF DOCS, OTHER STAFF TO BE FILLED BY SEPT’

PATIALA : Health minister Balbir Singh Sidhu on Monday said that 4,000 posts of doctors and paramedical staff will be filled through Baba Farid Medical University by September this year. He said health services will be modernised and nine trauma centres were being set up in Punjab. Sidhu said CT scan and ultrasound services will be made available at PGIMER rates in all government hospitals with the help of private players. He also inaugurated a 30-bedded child and mother care hospital in Rajpura set up at a cost of ₹6 crore.
