SNATCHING BID, 3 THEFTS IN CITY

CHANDIGARH: Three thefts and a snatching bid were reported from different parts of Chandigarh on Friday. Farakhat Khan, a resident of Mauli Complex, alleged that ₹1.5 lakh and gold jewellery was stolen from his house. Dimpy, a resident of Sector 15, said a bag was stolen from her car parked in Sector 25. Grees Sharma, who works as a contractor, reported electrical copper wires stolen from a construction site in Sarangpur. Cases were registered under relevant sections. Besides, two men were booked for a snatching bid in Dadumajra.
