Be it the bubbly Aisha from Ek Villain (2014), or the angsty Sia in Baaghi (2016)––actor Shraddha Kapoor (right) has usually played diverse roles in her films. However, she says that it did not happen without personal research. The actor understands her character before she starts shooting. “For me, portraying any character is not a matter of one or two days. It is what I live in, for months. So, if I am playing someone like Haseena (Dawood’s sister) in my next film, I kept her pictures in my phone and understand how she looked. For every character, I learn the nuances of her profession, the emotions involved. It helps me give a better performance,” says Shraddha.

“As an actor, Shraddha is blessed to learn and imbibe several aspects of life through various characters, that one portrays on screen. There is a certain amount of prep that goes into playing each of them on screen,” says the actor’s spokesperson.
