I’m really happy,” says Harshdeep, whose performance in Mumbai, as well as Delhi, is likely to be “about 45-minute long.” The singer’s performance will include many hit numbers including ‘Kabira’ (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani; 2013) ‘Channa mereya’ (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil; 2016), ‘Zaalima’ (Raees; 2017), ‘Dua’ (Shanghai; 2012), and ‘Jugniji’ (Cocktail; 2012). “I’ll be singing some of my own songs and some other popular numbers as well. I’m really looking forward to it,” she informs.
Ask her how excited she is about her new experience, and she says with a smile, “I’m quite excited. For the past few days, I’ve been preparing a special set with my band for this event. It also feels great to be representing my country’s music on such a big stage with an international artiste.”
The young singer goes on to admit that she has many childhood memories of listening to Bryan’s songs. “I clearly remember learning the song, ‘Everything I do’ and performing at my school annual fest. Everyone had loved it (smiles),” she says. The Canadian singersongwriter is in India for a musical tour that kicked off in Ahmedabad and was followed by Hyderabad.
