IT'S GOOD THAT WOMEN ARE SPEAKING OUT AGAINST E HARRASMENT: ANIL KAPOOR
Bollywood star Anil Kapoor has voiced his support for the #Metoo movement, which is gaining momentum across the country.
Speaking on the sidelines of an event in Ludhiana, the actor said that it is a positive development that women are speaking out against sexual harassment.
“#Metoo movement is a good thing. Many women are speaking out against the harassment. While society maintains that boys and girls are equal, I have always given preference to my daughter over my son,” said Kapoor.
While in town, Kapoor also relished some local cuisine,“the moment I landed in Ludhiana, I ordered for kali dal and some paneer dish as the city is known for its cuisine. I am a non-vegetarian but due to Navratri, I will miss the non-vegetarian

He credited Punjabi food for his exuberant personality and fitness.
He also recalled the movie “Woh Saat Din” in which he played the lead role of a Punjabi character. “I keep trying to project my Punjabi connection in the movie. My last movie was Mubarakan wherein I played the role of a sardar,” said Kapoor.
‘STATE CM SHOULD BE LIKE NAYAK’
Recalling his movie Nayak, wherein he played the role of a chief minister, Kapoor said that the chief minister of a state should be like that character.
“Nayak is a memorable movie. Even today, people praise my role in the movie. The state should have a chief minister like the one portrayed in the movie,” said Kapoor.
