While many real es­tate bro­kers have claimed that prices in the re­sale mar­ket have fallen by at least 20% and the allcheque deals in the pri­mary mar­ket have not had an im­pact, some ex­perts say that the present sit­u­a­tion will lead to in­crease in de­vel­op­ment ex­penses re­lated to land, per­mits, and con­struc­tion, which will even­tu­ally be passed on to end-users

The liq­uid­ity crunch in the first few months, how­ever, will lead to sta­bil­i­sa­tion of prices in the mar­ket, mak­ing it a buyer’s mar­ket.
