Your organisation’s most employeefriendly policy?
It is difficult to single one policy and call it the best. However, let me mention a few. We have Udaan - an initiative to identify high-potential individuals and create a second line of leaders. Then we have a heritage policy where every employee who completes five years of service earns the membership of our heritage club and enjoys privileges like holiday packages, company vehicle etc
What’s the most unique thing about your appraisal system?
Every new recruit is given a goal sheet within 15 days. This sets clarity on expectations. Two appraisal cycles (mid and annual) are conducted to keep employees informed about their performance and counsel non-performers. The timeline for performance planning and performance evaluation is set at the begining of the year and the performance management system is automated

How does it fit in with employee expectations?
Our employees take pride in creating wealth for clients by giving them right advise that is backed by strong research Sudhir Dhar commands over 20 years of work experience within the technical and human resource domains. He has worked at various information technology and non-banking financial companies.
Other CSR activities?
We organise various CSR activities like blood donation camps, marathons for fund raising (for the benefit of NGO’s) and visits to old age homes
Does your company use social media for recruitment? Do you also check a candidate’s online social media profile before the hire?
We use social media for recruitment and check the profiles of prospective employees to understand their social conditioning and contributions by observing their wall posts and uploads
Your thoughts on internal rotation of new hires to help them decide where they fit best?
This practice works best for management trainees. I feel that they should work across business verticals so that they can identify their natural fit
What organisational values would you show off to attract new talent?
We place a premium on integrity over everything else. This means that we honour commitment and do our work by incorporating the highest ethical standards. We endorse team work and collaboration and welcome people with a can do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
How many women do you employ?
We don’t have any predefined numbers in terms of recruiting women employees. We recruit on the basis of merit and suitability

We are a woman friendly organisation and ensure their safety at all times
How does the organisation ensure their safety during late-night commutes, etc?
We don’t have evening or night shifts for employees

Our reward system is driven by our value of meritocracy. Performance gets differentiated, recognised and rewarded in an apolitical environment. We have monthly best performance awards, quarterly best performance and yearly best associates for the year. We make sure that efforts are appropriately recognised and results are rewarded
