Hindustan Times (Chandigarh) - Live - - FRONT PAGE - Satbir Singh is deputy superintendent of police (crime) Most of the heinous crimes in the tricity remain unsolved. What’s wrong with the investigative skills of the police?

■ The percentage of cases of heinous crimes solved by the Chandigarh Police is quite high as compared to other states. At the same time, it is vital to have specialised teams to solve cases of robbery and murder. These teams require specialised skills. In case of a murder, it is important to pinpoint the motive and it vital to understand the modus operandi in case of a robbery.
