Equal priority to all road users
Road safety is very important if we want to save invaluable lives. Speed limits should be fixed and this rule should be strictly enforced through installation of speed cameras. Pedestrian barriers and crossings should be made for safety of pedestrians. Sidewalks of suitable size should be built. Road signs and crossings should be made of retro-reflective material. Shared space schemes should be there for providing equal priority to all road users. Cycle lanes should also be there as cyclists are most vulnerable targets. Drivers should be genuinely tested before giving licence and safe roads should be designed. Helmets use should be encouraged.
