More vehicles, more accidents

Hindustan Times (Chandigarh) - Live - - OPINION/EDUCATION - Amanpreet Singh,

The increase in the number of vehicles on roads every year has led to a rise in the number of road accidents. Its time that a cap should be formed on the number of vehicles a family can keep in tricity. Implementing strict rules and regulations particularly on two wheelers and three wheelers can be other road safety measure; they should follow a particular lane, which will minimize the road accidents. Strong punishment should be given to serial offenders. Challans should be issued without any incongruity to even rickshaws and cyclists.
