Dhillon supporter manhandled
An advocate belonging to the Deepinder Dhillon group was allegedly manhandled by supporters of SAD candidate NK Sharma. Police have booked twodozen people following a complaint.
In his complaint, Jasveer Singh alleged that he had come to assess polling at a booth at Lohgarh, where a car belonging to Sharma supporters carrying election material was parked. As he objected, Sharma's supporters allegedly attacked him, following which he suffered injuries. The police later booked Sharma's brother and nephew along with two-dozen unidentified accomplices.
Besides, Amandip Singh Gill and Rakesh Sharma, two Dhillon supporters, were booked on charges of distributing liquor at Dera Bassi on the eve of the polling Day.
